Joy In Abundance

I’m Joni Eareckson Tada, and back when COVID first caused medical supply shortages, I ran out of tubing for the breathing machine I use at night. When my friend Tracey, who has spinal muscular atrophy, learned this, she happily gave me ventilator tubing from her own supply. It was a risk for her, but Tracey is a woman of Proverbs 3 where it says to do good when it is in your power to do it. She sent a note with the tubing saying, “Joni, no matter what kind of day I’m having, I want to share an abundance of joy with everyone I meet. It’s my way of being ‘joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer,’ just as the Bible says.” Wow, that woman is such an encourager. So please, follow Tracey’s example: do good when it is in your power to do it. And when you do it, always be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer. I’m Joni Eareckson Tada.
