VISITATION MINISTRY
Special Delivery
In collaboration with our many Joni and Friends Local Ministry offices and local church partners, we provide training and inspirational materials to bring hope, encouragement, and the promise of a genuine relationship with God to those who are hospitalized, homebound, and institutionalized.
In delivering Bibles and other inspirational gifts, the primary gift we share and we want you to share is the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. People in hopeless and helpless circumstances, the “shut in” and the “shut out” need the message of Christ, need you, need family in Christ, and need the hope and encouragement only the Holy Spirit and God’s Word can provide.

Reflecting upon her dark days in a hospital and rehabilitation center, Joni Eareckson Tada wrote of her Christian friends whole personal visitation ministry to her – reading the Bible, sharing inspirational gifts, eating together, laughing, crying and praying together – made all the difference:
They provided “insight into the same profound message that brought me out of the darkness of depression and changed my life. The profound message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ – the One who provides hope in what seems like hopeless situations, light in darkness, and peace, purpose and power for living… even when you can’t move your arms or legs.”
